Director Anurag
Kashyap, who is known for his quirky and sharp sense of humor as well as
his disdain for Bollywood's trends, has taken potshots at the trend of
'item numbers' in his upcoming film Ugly with the song Nichod De, which features Surveen Chawla.
The song features Surveen playing a sultry student trying to seduce
her professor in a library and the song video is interspersed with
hilarious scenes where Inspector Jadhav (played by Girish Kulkarni)
tries his best to describe the song to his boss ACP Bose (played by
Ronit Roy) who is trying to trace the item song dancer Rakhi Malhotra
(played by Surveen Chawla). The song has been sung by Bharka Swaroop
Saxena and G.V. Prakash Kumar whereas the lyrics of this song are
written by Gaurav Solanki with music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.Ugly stars Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Rahul Bhatt, Vineet Singh, Girish Kulkarni, Siddhant Kapoor and Surveen Chawla. The movie, which has been produced by Phantom Films and Dar Motion Pictures Ltd is slated to release on December 26, 2014.
